For several years, I was the lead catalog writer at Scentsy—a global home fragrance brand—and was able to work on some exciting pieces, all seen and shopped by millions of customers in multiple countries. Here are some of my favorite examples.

The Spring/Summer 2018 fragrance spread featured both positioning copy and new fragrance descriptions for the season (all written by yours truly). I still love it after all these years and grey hairs.

Here's the intro copy and a few of my favorite descriptions just to give you the flavor:

Prepare to swoon

The science of scent is complex, but the gist is simple: Brain meets beautiful fragrance and it falls hard. Through relived memories, new sensations or just the bliss in every fragrance note. It's a powerful experience and we deliver it in scents for every passion.

"A" is for Apple

Sweet-tart Granny Smith and McIntosh notes offer a bite of pure apple bliss.

Midnight in Curaçao

Brazen notes of currant, orange and Mirabelle plum sneak out after hours.

Pineapple Pucker

Fresh pineapple steals the show in this eye-opening tropical production.

a luscious maple drizzle.

Take in towering Douglas fir, while satsuma mandarin and golden sunflower add a new twist
to your autumn adventure.

I've also included the Skin & Groom spreads from the 2014 Fall/Winter Scentsy Catalog. These two categories had just launched, and I was asked to create a persona for each fragrance and write all the descriptions you see here.
